About this Event: This workshop will cover the basics of selling to the federal government. The federal government is the world's largest purchaser of goods and services. In FY 2023, the federal government awarded approximately $700 billion in federal contracts. In the same year, Oregon small businesses were awarded over $1.6 billion in federal contracts. Join the Portland District of the Small Business Administration and the Government Contracting Assistance Program (GCAP), which is Oregon's APEX Accelerator at this webinar to learn how to grow your small business through federal contracting!
In this workshop, you will learn:
Overview of SBA programs
Where do I need to be registered in order to sell to the federal government?
How does the government buy products/services?
Does my small business need to be certified to sell to the federal government?
Who are the key decision makers in federal procurement process
What resources are available to help my small business with government contracting?
There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required. The webinar will take place via Microsoft Teams and a meeting link will be sent to you via your registration confirmation e-mail.
