ABOUT THE EVENT: Running a non-profit requires not just knowing how to run a business, but also how to remain compliant with state and federal nonprofit rules. Are you not sure if you are ready for an audit? Are you reporting grant activity as required by the grant? Are your board and staff following proper voting and operating procedures?
Join Attorney Michael Jonas of Rational Unicorn Legal Services for a seminar that will discuss the do's and don'ts of nonprofits so that you can worry less and focus on your great community work, more. Co-hosted by Nonprofit Association of Oregon.
Who should attend this class? Those considering forming a nonprofit, including those who are looking to change from another entity type to nonprofit, or state nonprofits that have not yet applied for federal exemption, or those in the beginning stages of having formed.
