ABOUT THE EVENT: Join Oregon Pride in Business (ORPIB) in learning about social media strategy for small business. Spoiler — posting every day is not a strategy (thank goodness!). Let's hear about how to do it better, together with Sarah Giffrow of member business Upswept Creative.
In this session, we'll talk about topics like:
what to know about organic social when you're a small business
where to put your focus on social and when
ways to keep content ideas flowing
how to know when you're ready to hand over the keys to a social media pro (and what to expect)
About the Speaker: Sarah’s path was set in the days of the Old Internet, after she built her very first webpage in (gasp!) the ’90s. She was raised in a tech-savvy household and after nearly 10 years designing for online education, she founded her own online marketing agency. Upswept Creative was born out of Sarah’s previous side-hustle as a photographer, where she often found herself seized by the irrepressible urge to help her photography clients improve their websites.
These days, she calls herself “a website nerd and accidental marketer,” and learning about online marketing over the past decade has only made her better at websites and promoting small businesses in the big world of the internet.
In her spare time, she can be found lifting heavy barbells, learning to referee roller derby, cuddling her spicy meatball of a 3-year-old, and giving all the pets to her affectionate and extremely food-motivated tuxedo cat, Zergling.
