ABOUT THE EVENT: There may be occasions in the workplace where we encounter concerning employee behaviors, and it can be especially challenging to distinguish the truth from the rumor mill. Managers might hesitate to address an employee’s possible alcohol or substance use for compassionate or conflict-avoidance reasons, which can pose risks to the company and its culture.
Join our Training & Development Consultant, Linda Addy, for a webinar on empowering leaders to step towards the vulnerable conversations that must occur to maintain safe workplaces.
Session Highlights:
Awareness of physical and behavioral signs of reasonable suspicion
De-escalation techniques
Safety best practices
Knowledge of what should and should not be documented
How to bring compassion with you when navigating reasonable suspicion situations
